SIDH ORGANISES HEARTFELT FAREWELL TO GRADUATING STUDENTS 2019

Wassenaar — For the leaving students SIDH held a special farewell, Monday, 8th April 2019. It was organised after Year 12 students had completed their final day of the CBT National Examination.

It was commenced with lunch prepared by the famed chef, Mr Rosidi. The special cuisines in the menu were lamb cutlets and dorado fish grills. This event was attended by SIDH school community, Indonesian Embassy (H.E. Ambassador Puja, DCM and Cultural and Education Attaché, DWP), executives of SIDH Committee and parent representatives.

In his address Ambassador Puja reminded the departing students that SIDH has been an excellent school with many successful alumni. Yet, learning and shaping one’s character can be at schools and in real daily life

Students’ performances included impressions and messages movie of the graduates, angklung and musical ensemble trained by My Nathalie and drama directed by Mr Nurna (themed: Mata Hari). Medals were also conferred to the graduating students and a certificate of appreciation to Catlya who has been admitted – without entrance examination (SNMPTN) – to pursue undergraduate degree at the University of Airlangga this year.

SHS CBT 2019 STARTS AT SIDH TODAY

Wassenaar – SIDH’s Year 12 students commenced their Computer-based National Examination (CBNE) this morning, Monday, April 1, 2019. The Cultural and Education Attaché, Din Wahid, Ph.D. on behalf of the Indonesian Embassy called at SIDH to observe the running of the programme. Mr Wahid was accompanied by SIDH Principal, Mr Udik Ripul, Vice Principal, Mr Gunar Yadi, Bu Safreni, Bu Nia and other teachers.

12 SIDH students who took the CBNE this year, 11 at SIDH and 1 at SIDH-Moscow Campus.

SIDH STUDENTS ATTAIN THE BEST PLACES IN THIMUN 2019 CARTOON MOVEMENT COMPETITION

The Hague, 04 February 2019 – This year’s conference of The Hague International Model United Nations SIDH represented United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Eight students participated as delegates of the UNCTAD. SIDH delegation were trained by Ms Raya Mahdi and Ms Roeena Mahdi. Mr Noorman Effendi, a senior diplomat at the Indonesian Embassy The Hague, also kept SIDH delegation abreast of the trends in the international trade and sustainable development.

Beyond the participation, two SIDH delegates took part in the cartoon competition organised by THIMUN 2019. Roes Lirizky Lufti took the 2nd place from the participants version and Jasmijn S.H. Yadi attained the 1st place based on the undisputed decision of the professional panel of jury. SIDH is very proud with these two highest achievements performed by its students.

For this attainment SIDH would like to extend its appreciation and gratitude to the support of the SIDH Committee and the Indonesian Embassy.

AMBASSADOR PUJA FORMALLY INSTALLS NEW MEMBERS OF SIDH COMMITTEE

Indonesian Embassy – H.E. Ambassador Puja formally installed new members of SIDH Committee, Friday evening, 18th January 2019. The newly installed members were Mr Syarifuddin Abdullah, Mr M. Yusuf, Ms Roes Dina Martha and Ms Roeena Mahdi. The news members were to substitute the members who had been resigned and completed the assignment at the Indonesian Embassy.

In his address, Ambassador Puja underscored that the rejuvenated Committee would boost the quality of services offered by SIDH to prosper as national and multicultural school that nurtures Indonesianness.

Also present in the ceremony were our DCM, Mr Fikri Cassidy, Education and Cultural Attaché, Mr Din Wahid, Ph.D., Ms Fitri, Mr Gunar Yadi, Ms Sisilia, Committee Chairperson, Mr Helen, Committee Treasurer, Mr Moeljowijono and other members of SIDH Committee.

SI DOEL IN THE MAKING AT SIDH

Wassenaar – SIDH hosted the making of the famed Si Doel’s new miniseries, Monday, 14 January 2019. Rano Karno personally led his team of movie stars as well his film crews assisted by the production houses originated from Indonesia and The Netherlands.

Ambassador Puja also involved in the serial, so did some of our students and teachers. While the earlier acted as a teacher; yet, the latter mostly involved in supporting acts.

Through this cooperation, we hope it will improve SIDH visibility as a giver of education services in The Netherlands and Europe as well as promoting Indonesian simultaneously. For the opportunity, we thank the Indonesian Embassy and Rano Karno and team.
